What a building

This is an old hospital that has been abandoned for about 2 years. It is in a town about the size of Preston. It is absolutely huge. I don't know why they built it in such a small town when they did.

A park in Trinidad

We were walking through a park in Trinidad and found these beautiful flowers or bushes?

Ibis

Ibis are a local bird that comes in around dark every night to their favorite tree. Double click the picture and see the beautiful red ibis landing. Ibis come in white, blue and red. The red birds with the sunlight on their wings was just beautiful.

Deep, dark jungle

We are on the boat going to the sanctuary. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lots of wildlife

Will it sink?

This is a boatful of senior missionaries in Trinidad going to a bird santuary. It took us about three hours to see everything such as snakes in the trees, cayman (aligators) and lots of birds

Beach beauties

The senior sisters are really adventurous aren't they?

Where's my snorkel?

This is a beautiful beach on Trinidad. We had a few hours one day before our conference and visited a few places. There were little sand fleas that bit our legs and we itched for hours. It may look like a harmless beach but everyone was itching

Aren't we cute?

We are wearing official P-day clothes for seniors. It was a beautiful day.

Beautiful Island

Isn't this about the most beautiful thing you have seen. It is a view from the top of a mountain in Trinidad. It is looking down into the ocean. It is a very special place as far as beauty goes. The island has no garbage, animals roaming and dogs all over the place.

Cabbage Patch

This is a picture of a cabbage patch on a hillside in Trinidad. We saw all kinds of little gardens throughout the island. The island is soooo beautiful and had no garbage like Guyana.
